BLESSIN' LOVE is Lyrics based on our Friendship with several Oldsters in the Sierra of California: good and very Kind Foothill Fok, who have loved dearly and kindly for all of their days...they are my Teachers about Blessin' Love, and I'm grateful to them each time I visit with them up in their Mountain Homes....

BLESSIN' LOVE

CHORUS

Some Folks have a Blessin' Love
Spreads right out from their Faces
Some Folks have a Love so Real
It spreads like Wildflowers...

All across our Great-Plains Hearts
Like Sweet Water on our parched-dry Hearts....

Cal and Bill are old -
They are very old -
Still they hold the keys
To their Hearts
An' Hearts of others...

They are not Alone
With their Souls so near
To the other's Soul -
That, if they had their druthers:

They'd live on and on...
Just to share Life Side-by-Side....

CHORUS
____________________

I've been learnin' now
How to love like that:
With no hope of deathlessness
On this Earth or any other...

To let go of Time -
Place - and Worry too...
To just Live a Blessin' Love
An' don't fret when there is Loss...

Cuz there is always Love...
Blessin' Love gives on and on....

CHORUS
____________________

Watched her bend her head
Over his frail form...
Put her sweet, small cheek
By his cheek - side by side...

He looked like a King
Who had everything...
She looked like a Saint
And a Kind and Queenly Bride....

An' they Loved on and on...
Just a Good and Blessin' Love....
