THERE COMES A TIME

There comes a time
when only a huge
leap of faith
will do
when there is
no where to go
except into each
other's arms
no way to go
except directly
in to each
other's lives
no time to go
except
now
no hesitation
no fear
blind faith
unusual
certainty
beyond certainty
reality more real
than reality ever is
no lack of courage
no lack of hope
all the love there is
only in each other's
arms bodies together
never to be separated
drawn from the same
well of life
always meant to be
together one born in
May and one in June
peace children of the
same year yes '45
always together meant
for the other since birth
there comes a time
when nothing stops
the flow of the river
it goes over the banks
floods the plains fills
the delta with life
takes all life to the sea
takes us into each
other's space and there
comes a time
and it is ours
and it is forever more
it is ours and
it is eternal
