HAIKU OF SNOW
this poem of snow melts
ice is so slick, dishonest
these melting snows hiss
pale sun waxes, wanes
resembles its sister moon
snow reflecting both
hands are cold snowballs
snowmen are children's children
child play in the snow
in the night snow cracks
creaks and rustles in cold trees
sap slowly rises
snow is gone now, child
will come another day though
this snow is over
